A solution to this is to fit secondary glazing which can decrease noise levels breaching the primary window but offers the added value of retaining heat and reducing energy bills.
Granada’s secondary glazing is handcrafted at our manufacturing facility based in South Yorkshire. As we manufacture in-house we can create bespoke windows sized for any application.
Previously this customer found it uncomfortable to sit in front of their bay window as cold air was breaching the primary window. Our Trade partners measured the aperture where we proceeded to manufacture and deliver the secondary glazing units. After a quick install, the room feels warmer and the customer can now sit in front of the bay window and enjoy the view all seasons round.
